Individual therapy

I have worked in a variety of settings with adults, teens, and families navigating trauma and mood disorders.

We will work together to better understand your issues and find a way forward, including any referrals you may need to additional providers (medication management, dietitian, support groups, etc.).

I use interventions from:

  • Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT)

  • Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT)

  • Dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT)

  • Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR)

  • Internal family systems (IFS)

  • Mindfulness

  • Equine-assisted therapy

Conditions and issues I treat most often:

  • ADHD

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Family conflict

  • Grief/loss

  • Life transitions

  • PTSD

  • Self-esteem

  • Work-related stress

family therapy

I am trained in Attachment-Based Family Therapy, an empirically-based intervention created to address the ruptures that can occur between parents and their adolescent children. This approach is particularly suited to adolescents with depression and/or suicidal ideation. I also use play therapy approaches (such as sandtray) to support families in their healing, and am happy to work with parents separately to help them better understand their child’s mental health issues.

  • Stress management

  • Creating a mindfulness practice

in order to be who you are.

Be imperfect and have compassion for yourself.

Connection is the result of authenticity.”
