Hey! I’m madison.
I believe that everyone carries “stuff” on their journey through life.
You know, stuff: insecurities, being bullied, tough relationships, traumatic events, or anything, really. Whether you’re carrying a lot or a little, and whether you’ve been carrying it for a week or many years, you deserve a space where you can acknowledge the effects that weight has had on you. My goal is to provide a safe space for you to unpack your stuff, help you understand it better, and then empower you to decide where your path goes from there.
When I’m not doing therapy, I love hiking, foraging, playing roller derby and video games, and making music. I’m a lifelong Marylander currently residing in northern Montgomery County with my husband Mike, my dog Taz, and my cat Beans.
My Approach
Therapy with me is primarily trauma-informed and person-centered, with an additional focus on the relationship between body and mind. I specialize in using EMDR, mindfulness, and polyvagal-informed strategies.
I’ve worked with many clients to address many topics, and I’ve taken great care to appreciate each as an individual. Whether this is your first time in therapy or your fiftieth, I look forward to walking the path with you.
